A 7-day ultra-endurance mountain bike stage race held in the sprawling backcountry of Breckenridge. After a 10-mile time trial on day one, athletes will contest 5 subsequent stages spending 4-8 hours on course each day, most of it over 10,000 feet.

August 28, 2010 - Basin Backyard BBQ - Arapahoe Basin
Arapahoe Basin is hosting its first summer barbeque at the ski area from 11:00 am-3:00 pm to showcase the new Black Mountain Express chairlift and the new hiking/bike trail. Be the first to wander on the hiking/bike trail. This new trail will be developed over the next two summers and can be accessed from the base area. Use the hiking trail to see the new Black Mountain Express, high-speed quad chairlift to be opened in 2010.

February 5, 2011 - 9TH Annual Beacon Bowl & Avalanche Awareness Day - Arapahoe Basin
An event backcountry skiers and riders should not miss. Beacon Bowl entrants compete in timed trials to find a buried beacon the fastest. Spectators are able to test out the newest avalanche gear and attend clinics. All proceeds go to the Colorado Avalanche Information Center. At the apres ski party expect awards, raffle, silent auction and live auction. A New Belgium cruiser bike will be up for grabs.

April 13, 2011 - 22ND Annual Enduro - Arapahoe Basin
Only A-Basin would bring you an endurance race of this caliber. Skiers and riders take laps on the Pali chair from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. without stopping. 71 runs is the record. All proceeds from the event benefit a local charity.

The Easter Bunny visits A-Basin for an Easter Egg Hunt on skis. Both skiing and non-skiing children can participate. The Easter Bunny arrives at noon - just outside the Snowsports Center. Egg hunts take place on Molly Hogan for those who do not ski & Wrangler for those that do ski! Don't miss out!

April 30, 2011 - 9TH Annual Marmot Grind - Arapahoe Basin
The Marmot Grind is an uphill, downhill adventure race designed to introduce new participants to backcountry skiing as well as challenge the veteran skier. Races are modeled after European randonee events with competitors beginning on foot and running to clip into their skis. Athletes skin uphill on a challenging course and race down to the finish.
May 7, 2011 - 8TH Annual Huck, Rock & Roll Terrain Park Competition - Arapahoe Basin
After the other parks have put away the rails and dozed the jumps the Treeline Terrain Park will be ready to host an amateur slopestyle competition for snowboarders and freeskiers who aren’t quite ready to call it quits.
